Cher.e ami.e,
Hier soir, j'ai enterré mon oiseau.
On a creusé un trou au fond du jardin pour y déposer son corps.
Et puis on l'a recouvert de terre.
On m'a dit que de cette façon, au bout de quelques jours,
les insectes commenceront leur travail.
Petit a petit ils y pondront leurs oeufs,
qui se transformeront en larves,
puis les larves en mouche à leur tour.
Ainsi mon oiseau volera de nouveau.
Moi aussi j'aimerais bien être enterré au fond de mon jardin,
rongé par les vers, ma chaire en décomposition.
